Military aviation poster sketch. Well, it's been a while, not only since I've updated this blog, but also since I've even worked on a painting; what can I say, busy busy summer. I know I am still in the middle of the Soviet tank girl pinup, but when a commission comes along it gets bumped to the front of the line. This project comes from Albert who is starting a craft brewery called "Fly By Brewing Company". Albert wanted a pin up painting of his wife but didn't know exactly what he wanted for a theme. His brewery has military aviation as its theme, so working together we came up with the idea of a WWII era pilot theme set against the pilot wings of the time. Also beer. Although not in the sketch yet, the name of his company will be on top of the painting in a classic poster font.
