That's right, the title don't lie! It took a while for me to get back to this painting what with Christmas, illness and the on-going battle with the powers of darkness, but I finally got the Nazi bitch done. I was originally going to do a black spatter over the red background, but as i started blocking in the black I decided I liked that look. It seems to be a bit reminnicent of 70's posters for schlock B-movies. Which seems perfect as it's theme has obvious connection to Nazi-Exploitation vehicles like "Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS." Anyway, enjoy. I am not sure what painting will be up next as I don't have a shoot in the cue...so we shall all be surprised...
So It's been a super busy last few weeks, what with the holidays and blah blah blah...so anyway, I finally got around to adding the first round of color into the painting..in the process I screwed up the suspenders so one step backward there, oh well. Other then that it is going pretty smoothly..dig
The next step in this painting is putting in the blacks, I do this in every painting, but in this one especially I am really developing it heavily before I move into color, probably because it just seemed natural as there are so many blacks/darks in the final.
