Egyptian pin-up beginnings!

For the next painting I will be doing a Egyptian theme. I drew inspiration for her outfit from historical sources as well as some more fictional sources. While researching I couldn't find any visual evidence that women would paint there bodies in gold, but it seemed like a fun idea. Anyway, it may not be apparent in the sketch, but she is not completely nude, but rather entirely (accept for her face) covered in gold paint.

It's been a REALLY long summer...and super busy; I didn't get to nearly as much painting as I had hoped I would (as usual.) The end of the season is here though and I finally got around to finishing the carousel painting, anyways, here it is!..
