Complete with T-34 and all! haha anywho, it's been what? like a year since I started this one....ridiculous.
Dig. This customer wanted a pinup of his wife with a grill as a logo for his BBQ business/team called "Meat Candy". The digital painting was then printed on aluminum as a sign for their grill. They then proceeded to win first place in the first BBQ contest they brought her to. Pretty rad.
So here is another fun project: the customer has a business called "Kozmonot" that sells e-cigarettes/vaporizer products and has a soviet cosmonaut theme. So he wanted a pinup of his wife as a cosmonaut with a CCCP type of theme. Here is what I came up with. ..And here is the artwork used on his products. Pretty Awesome, I always love seeing how my work is used!
When I'm bored and stuck in a situation where I can't get anything truly productive done I just add random drawings to my sketchbook. I was going for sort of an exaggerated cartoony feel with these ones.
Digital Cosmonaut Pin Up SketchI am starting on two new pinup commissions for two different customers. One sells vaping equipment...of some sort, I guess I don't know much about that industry. Anywho his business has a Soviet theme to it so he wanted his wife drawn as a CCCP cosmonaut. Here is the quick sketch he approved. BBQ Military Pin UP SketchThe Second Customer is a big time BBQer...? is that how one would say that? Well anyways, he enters his BBQ in competitions and wants a logo for his grill. So, he is commissioning a digital pin up of his wife with a grill and a military themed apron. This is a super rough sketch I did just to get on the same page with him as far as poses go, so not too interesting to look at at this stage in the game. Stay tuned for more progress pics.
Well It's been a little bit since I've posted, this one was in the works for a while, however I had several commissions that I had to get done first, The commissions were private so unfortunately I can't post them, but that's ok, I have two new ones I am working on now that I can post pics of, so look for those progress pics soon.
So this one was kind of different and fun. The Customer wanted a custom pin up painting created for his guitar which he calls "SuperGirl". So I was to use that as a starting point and come up with the details. Oh, and he also wanted it to look like a certain celebrity, so that's a first for me as well. Well, now it's time to go make a shipping crate for it, and then start on sketches for two different pin up commissions that have to be done for Christmas, busy busy.
